Abstract

A request from a man with autism led to the innovative use of assistive technology and to a research project. This article describes Chris1, the process used by an occupational therapist in applying assistive technology to address two of his occupational issues, a study of locating technology for people at risk of wandering and raises ethical considerations related to the use of such technology.
