Occupational therapy fieldwork experience in disaster response and recovery

Abstract

Occupational therapy students in Indonesia experienced new challenges when praticing their fieldwork at a disaster site. Through a volunteer project, lecturers led students to understand the needs of people following disaster and learn how to use their skills as occupational therapists when working in the disaster arena.
