The Concept of “Rehabilitation” in Switzerland

Abstract

In Switzerland the concept of Rehabilitation is still developing. Aftercare on a larger basis was established relatively late. The future focus will be on decentralization of Rehabilitation services. This brings new emphasis to an old problem: the definition and differentiation of OT practice in relation to other allied health professions as well as the current policy.
