An Australian Viewpoint on Working in Indonesia
Abstract
This article describes some experiences and impressions of a volunteer Occupational Therapist working part-time in a school for disabled children in North Sumatra, Indonesia. An O.T. diploma makes the holder an expert in all fields and creates high expectations. The establishment of a sheltered workshop revealed cultural difficulties in relating to the handicapped.Downloads
