Abstract

Within a 10 year time span Occupational Therapists in New Zealand have been encouraged towards involvement within the community as well as involving the community in traditional institutional care. Discussion is on changing roles and the emerging therapists within one area of New Zealand. We move towards preventing ill health rather than solely treating the sick.
