Clinical Practice of Occupational Therapy Students in the Netherlands

Abstract

This article gives an overview of the clinical practice of Occupational Therapy students in the Netherlands. The whole diploma-course takes four years. Nine months of clinical practice takes place during the third year. An experiment will start this year to have a field orientation of two weeks during the first year. Due to a language problem it is hard for a foreign student to fulfill his clinical practice in the Netherlands.
